Those who believe will see things that those who don't believe will never see. Faith works every time. Every prayer is a step. We often don't see the answer to our prayer because we stopped taking steps. Perhaps we take a single step, look around and decide that God isn't in this one. Or perhaps we give up after only praying for 10 years. If we truly believe we'll keep taking steps. Taking steps is called walking. Taking steps of faith is called walking in faith.
Healing the sick is the afterthought. He wanted to do so much more but He could only heal a few sickos. What "Mighty Work" would He do if we truly believed. So often we just want Him to give us comfort when we're suffering. We don't even know that we're settling for crumbs.
"And he could do no mighty work there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and healed them and he marveled because of their unbelief." Mark 6:5,6
